I did the ka24e to ka24de swap and my tac didnt work. So what I did is I hardwired my tac and it works PERFECT! Your tac will be more accurate and responsive if you do as I did. First you need to Remove your gauge cluster. On the back of it, behind the tac there will be 3 groups of wires. You want the group all the to the right if you would be facing the cluster as it sits in your car regularly. The wire you are looking for is yellow/red, meaning its a yellow wire is a red stripe on it. CUT THAT WIRE so that you have about 5in of slack coming from the cluster. Then take a piece of wire (I used speaker wire) and splice them together. You will need about 5 feet of wire. Run the wire down below the dash and through the firewall. Now you need to splice the wire coming from the cluster to the coil. It will be the connector that is attached to the MAF wiring. It should be the wire on the left (of the two wires) if you are standing on the driver side fender looking at the motor. That should be all you need to do and your tac should work.
Tools I used are:1 Phillips screwdriver1 wirecutter1 roll of electrical tape
Good luck man, let me know if you need anymore info.
