Tach problems

The other day I decided to take off my glow gauges off, and after struggling to take off the rpm gauge one with being careful my tach is not preforming normal. now it doesnt even show that im idling when i start the car. the car drives prefectly tho. Now the question is should i just get a new one like the apex one or get it fix? all you S13 owners how much of a ***** it is to take off the dash and i dont want to have a shop struggle and break it.
