tach problem

i have a 1990 240. my tach dosent work with my sr i've bought 91-93 240sx dosent work, the one that came with the sr20 clip dosent work as well. my wiring is fine i attached all proper wires "i went over it many many times" where does the wire go to "CAS?" could the problem be the actual mechinizum? Please please HELP this is horribly frustrating thanks.

If you have replaced the tach in your cluster and it is still not working check the Yellow/Red wire going up into the dash from ther ECU.

just tap into the signal coming off the CAS, will work no problem, its the white wire
