changed the clock and climate control unit sunday. I had noticed a dead bug inside the plastic gauge cluster when I got the car running.so I gently unclipped the plastic cover on the speed-tach cover and blew the bug out lightly wiped the bottom of the unit, without touching the needles. there was a light breeze that blew I noticed the needles moving. never moved the needles myself.now the tach. is maxed out, needle resting on the passenger side of the gauge....how do I fix this???

Take off the plastic cover again, move the needle, gently, to the other side...

A pretty cool thing with these gauges, they defy gravity... If you take the cluster out, and hold it upside down, the speedometer needle stays put, if you move it DOWN towards higher speed and let go, it rises back to 0, haha..
