jesus h christ.

I know it's real hard and sounds like basic information, but if you have a technical question it really does wonders to include what car and engine you have. These type of questions can't be answered without this information.

Use your head, ididoth!!!!!!!

Well based on his user information it looks like he has a 1989 240sx, which would be a KA24E..

I've had the same problem with my chuki and it was the tach not the speed sensor.. "Tip" check if the odometer is clocking your mileage as well as the trip option..

If this works, then chances are is the tachometer and not the speed sensor..

gdbyyosh1to: Relax dude! Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of d bed today.

forgive the explosion, but seriously... try to give as much information as possible when asking technical questions.

Was the tach working before and it just stopped? I've read in several different places that the '89 gauge cluster has problems cooperating with the SR20DET ecus.

Just check your speed sensor, located under your transmission.. Or replace your tachometer..
On the S13 the Speed Sensor on the trans has nothing to do with the tach. Tach information for the S13 comes the ECU and it gets its information from the sensor inside the Distributor.
