tach doesn't work

i have a 90 240 and the tach goes crazy when i rev the engine. right now it is stuck all the way around and it won't come back. also the lightsin thecluster go on and off frequently. do i need a new cluster or is it electrical?

Probably a short in a wire for the light. The tach might just be a needle thing or this all could be electrical. Think I'd let a pro look into it.

Bah, forget the pro.. get in there and get dirty LOL... it could be something as simple as a short or a frayed wire
