So, would it be feasible to put a T6 turbo on an SR powered Silvia? My boy got that crazy Idea to drop a t6 turbo into his Silvia when he gets his, I was thinking about a t3/t04e on a new manifold or a GT28...

but enough about me, I'm planning on helping all of my friends with their cars (that's what a good leader does right?) So I came to the best place I could think of.

If a t6 is not feasible what would you suggest? We're gonna have three (possibly 4) S-chassis cars. 3 coupes 1 hatch and we want to turn heads.Should I tell hi mto cool his jets or can we pull off the t6? anyone know what all is needed?

Thanks in advance-Anthon

*edit* we lookin for upwards of 360 horses and I searched and found nothing on putting a t6 on an sr... I know how it is

nope, not much thought...He just comes to me with all of his car questions and I'm usually able to answer them but this one just stumped me...I mean he wanted a T72 or T88 if he got an RB, I could see that thru wit some tuning and mods...but then he asked if he stuck with the SR could he throw on a T6...I told him I'd get back to him lol.

now...I found one turbo site with this shyte on it

1)GARRETT GT25R BALL BEARING RATED AT 500HP

This turbo has the same specs as the 450HP GT25R but has a custom compressor wheel which is rated at 500HP but can make 600HP on a 2L. The GT25R are on boost from 3500 - 400RPM depending on mods rated on a 2L engine. 2) GT25R High Flow Turbo for SR20DET and RB20DET--SOLD OUT--

The GT25R Rated at 400HP has 0.64 A/R exhaust housing and 0.70 A/R compressor cover. Base flange is a T25 pattern it is a direct bolt on replacement for any car with a T2, T25 or T28 Turbo on it. The .70 compressor cover has a beautiful bell mouth 4” inlet. The large .70 compressor cover means it is not a bolt on fit on some cars without a spacer plate to lower the turbo away from the exhaust manifold.. GT series Turbocharger range are safe to run at 20psi + day in and day out.

Oil return Gasket and T25 Flange Gasket are included. as is the Actuator.

Now, I was like, That can't be right so I checked out the Garrett website and those numbers are a gross exxageration of what those turbo's are capable of or did they do something? 20psi and up all day long? a GT25???

http://www.boostlogic.com/part...d.htm OK, now, From the good guys on NICO I saw that ss manifolds have problems with cracking. and basically you get what you pay for and that good manifolds go for a grand and up. this ones for 900 and I've just begun my search...This one is for 900 and made of 321 grade.

Manifolds for $499 and made of 304 grade stainless steel would be crap then?

does he even know what a T72 or T88 is??? My god we have an rx7 here with a T88 turbo and it is already crazy... Set up to push 25psi all the time with boost lag from hell...

Here is a pic of the size of the T88... I think the right size T3/T04 setup on an sr20det would be perfect for up to 600HP once the trim sizes are suitable. The T3/T04 turbo comes in so many different variations its easy to find one to suit your needs.

Hey also do you use msn mesanger or AIM? Would be interesting to have some chats there. Not many of us from the caribbean in here.

yea I use messenger [email protected] can add some of my friends into the convo and I think you'll get some laughs lol

he knows exactly what the t72 and t88 are...he just a lil power hungry lol.as of right now in nassau it's pretty much the evo's that are dominating. But Nissan is making a BIG stomp now. I never thought the S-chassis would catch on so quick lol (blame it on drifting) lol

So now everyone is rushing to be able to beat evos on the track etc.I'm trying to tell him, We need to get proper suspension and learn how our cars handle and just spank the evo's around corners. after that we can upgrade enough to be able to beat them on the drag strip.

There's already one 180sx that beat an evo down the track (off the line too ) so he's even more determined now.I told him the only way he should be running a 72 or 88 is if he gets an RB25/26. (and now he's KA CRAZY because of his older brothers 240 and phatka-t)

yeh the T88 is huge. On all S chassis's the first upgrade before any engine mods is the suspension. They corner so fast and the turning radius is crazy. But you need the suspension to see them shine. The sr20det is up to the job of beating most slightly modded 4g63. properly modded and tuned they can push out 500HP on stock internals and we all know that so i wouldn't jump from SR to RB so quick.

lol your laughing now eh.... well let me give you a story tonight lol. With the front cut i goit the rear subframe with suspension which appeared to be high performance drift suspension since thats what the car was used for but both suspension had bent shocks. We brain stormed for a while on how to attemp to straighten them and the solution? A 2x4, a 4x4 and a piece of 3/4 inch pine and a hammer lol. Placed the shock with springs on the 2x4 and 4x4, the back end on the 4x4 and front end on the 2x4 to have it at a slant and placed the piece of 3/4 inch pine inbetween the spring to rest on the shaft and hammered it straight. I thought it was the most hilarious thing i have ever seen... makes you think of catch phrases...

"The Caribbean way, the only way"

"Caribbean life, where anything is possible"

i mean the shocks looked looked like they had to be tossed into a garbage bin... Anyway i will tell you how/if they work after that. It didnt appear to damage them in any way but if anything i will have to swap back my teins which might be better but wanna try out what the guy had on his drift machine

let me let you in on a little levin news. A levin is toyotas try to put a small displacement engine in a very very light body. It is 1.6 litres 20 valves producing 160HP and FWD... Those things are so scary. They pin 180km/h on the shortest of stretches and you don't feel it. They can corner very quick but it misguides you and makes you try to take the corners even faster and that is one car that you can't feel when it is about to understter or when ur going too fast so i have to say it is the most written off car on this island. We had 4 levin BZ-G's write off in 2 weeks once. They are pure death traps and every single one in st. lucia has had its fair share of accidents. I won't ever own one.

yeah those are pretty fast, we once did a stretch and passed 8 cars lolol, luckily there was no oncoming traffic but there's nothing like the feeling your stomach gives you when you hit full boost lol WOW

hee hee, I noticed about 5 levins over here and like 2-3 are mashed in some way lolololthe levin and the hyundai tiburon just strike me as cars that would be great as rwd

I'm still fighting to get my Silvia though. I won't take no for an answer

*Edit* what do you thinks the best t3 flanged manifold for the SR?
