I bought a 2016 X-Trail, which is of course a Rogue. It has the LED headlights with the auto feature and the aiming motors that adjust the lights up and down based on speed, and the fore/aft tilt of the car. Almost immediately one failed and it appears both were worked on (poorly) in the past as they were glued together (the lens was not coming off no matter what). So I bit the bullet and for about $1100 got a pair of lights that are the DEPO replacements for the 26060-4BA7B and 21060-4BA7B. Thing is, the ones I got don't have the aiming motors and are not "ready" for them. See attached pictures.
what it should look like...
what Depo thinks it should look like...
Anyone have any experience adding your old aiming motors to such headlights? Or going without the aiming motors (and not throwing codes?)
Also, the turn signal light on the Depo ones has two filaments instead of the one on the lights on my car. Total fail by Depo.
Thanks!
