Hey guys,

Sorry for this but i have to do it. I was wondering what size T3/T4 turbo i need to use to make around 250~300whp. I'm sorry for asking this; knowing how tired you are of hearing this question. I used the search function for at least thrity minutes. Being on a 33 Kps dial-up connection makes it difficult. Any info would be nice. Size vs. hp/tq numbers would make me forever greatful.

Start with the FAQ sticky. There are several links in there, but just take your time and read over them.

You need to understand basic terms like trim and A/R when talking about turbos. There are dozens of T3/T4 hybrid turbos. One of the most common uses a T3 turbine with 0.63A/R housing and 'stage 3' wheel combined with a T04E compressor with 50 trim wheel. That will certainly get you to 300whp and beyond.

I bet searching sucks on dial-up. But when you have more specific questions, you can post and get an answer.

Maximum Boost is a great place to start.

It does (it being searching on 33k) and i made that reply while searching on it. I apologize if it made me look like a d!ck. I understand you were just trying to help me and my question was very vague.

pretty much your turbo options are infinite. you could use a str8 t3 (60 trim .63 a/r) or a t3/t4 (50 trim .63 a/r) to get to your goal. i personally want to try out the ams gt32 as its price is equivalent to a garrett 50 trim. actually any of those turbos brand new are about the same price............

at the moment that's the plan, but it will be next spring before i start collecting turbo parts. I'm looking into buying a second 240 in need of some heavy TLC to run again and doing that this summer. Then in the spring probably rebuild the motor on the one that gets the worse gas milage. Finally, in the fall buy or piece together a turbo system.
