i just intalled the new t3 t70 this past weekend , it wasnt too bad to get on i just had to modify my downpipe which in turn gave ne the opportunity to fix an exhaust leak. this turbo has lots of lag but around 4500rpms and up it does what it is made to do.so far i have not even tuned the car any more , it holds a consistand a/f of 11.5 and crreps to 12.1 in top end and runs very smooth. so far i have made 1 hard pull on an on ramp and it was quite nice. the car has a whole truckload of topend now apposed to having a 50 trim . this is only 18 psi , i am giving it a break for a few weeks before i get the h/g and arp head studs on then turning the boost up a tad.

my sig say its built doesnt it, i ran 18 psi on a stock block and it was great. with the 50 trim smoking bad i made 1 pass and hit a 13.3 at 107 with no 1/8 mile traction.that was on 15 psi at the time runnin rich too.

If you haven't straightened out that return line yet....DO IT. Eventually you'll load up the rear oil seal and it'll seep oil into the downpipw causing a cool Spy Hunter effect...how do I know this you ask...Cause I did it myself. Although mine wasn't as bad as yours is...lol.

no it is the best thing you can ever do with the maf . just be careful with the screens and stuff like that , they rip somewhat easily. honestly when i did the blow through for the first time was when my car was the fastest it has ever been with the old charger, that will change here soon tho.

It's pretty easy to pick out the SSAutocrap turbos by the little badges they have on the compressor housing; I've never seen another "company" have "TURBOCHARGER" as the only identifying text.

theyre probally all made at one place, ssac and other distributors just buy them . we will see , so far so good but theres no guarantee. i guess the t3 t70 is somewhat new and i havent heard any feedback but for 300 shipped im willing to test it out.

Always with people badmouthing equipment they have no background with! I will use one in a heartbeat. Also, MasterPower sells them, and is considered to be somewhat reputable.

How much, and is it the T3/T70?

Klattr, are you saying that you have the personal experience to have the wherewithall to make any sort of statement about them, whatsoever?

well i had it sticking on 22psi , i think i broke my clutch . im pretty sure a spring was ejected from the disk from the sound of things. i will be pulling it this afternoon. it must not be too bad of a turbo for how it has been pulling so far. not a puff of smoke yet.

I don't want to add any "bad mouthing" but when I was starting WDRacing as a tuning bussiness, I purchased several different brands of turbo's, some cheap some expensive. I did the same with the manifolds. SSAC and Stone Mountain were amoung the suppliers I purchased from. Not only was the customer service VERY BAD but the products weren't quality at all. I was not going to sell any of their products with my kits. The compressor blades were misshaped on two of the turbo's and the oil bushings in the center cartridge were such cheap brass they basically melted/wore away to nothing.

I know alot of people talk trash without actually having used a product, but Klattr1 is one of the guys who's been around the KAT scene for a long time. I'll back his play pretty much all of the time. HE also happens to be correct in this instance. With any luck, the main supplier for SSAC and Stone and all the others, which is in China if IIRC, has decided to use better quality products in their assembly process. But with better quality comes more price...
