first i wanna say i don't know alot about turbo's, i have an sr ready to put in my 240 and its my first turbo car. im looking for a bit more power and wanna be able to boost more down the road. im looking at the T3/T4 Turbo - .63 a/r - 50 Trim from enjuku racing. http://www.enjukuracing.com/t3t4-turbo-trim-p-8701.html. how much more power would this give my sr with stock internals? what could i boost at. would i need any other parts to go with the turbo right away? i have intake and turbo manifolds, walbro 255, maxima 6 puck competition clutch (from Tennessee Clutch) a bunch of other stuff. im ordering a hks hi power exhaust, and greddy suction intake.

i'd like to get around 300 hp down the road somewhere, what mods are needed to get that number from this turbo? i ordered a z32 maf and i know i'd need injectors, but what size? and anything else to give me an idea of what im looking at

550cc will work for 300whp. I don't know much about your turbo choice.. Sorry, but I'm sure Ken over at enjuku would be glad to help you out with that. I hammered him and John at cip motorsports with tons of questions when I was choosing my setup. As well as the injectors and maf, you'll also need a tune to support everything.

i was asking around locally and i found a guy selling the same turbo locally for $100, which is a good price, but the exhaust exit is different. i have been looking for adapters but never found exactly what i need. has anyone ever done this? or is it just gonna end up being a big hassle?

Have someone take some metal and make you an adapter would be the best option for that.

I would skip this turbo all together, by the picture you can tell it's a china/ebay style turbo. If money is tight, save a little and purchase a Master Power turbo. You can find them for just a little over $600 for a T3/T4 50 Trim below.

Domestic guys run Master Power all day and they are not bad if you're looking for a basic turbo.

i thought the turbo looked kinda cheap, enjuku usually sells decent products so i thought it would be an ok upgrade. the price pretty much says it all tho. i defiantly don't wanna cheap out on a turbo, so scrap that idea. they have a Garrett T3/TO4E on enjuku for less then $700. would it be safe to get that turbo, i want to keep reliability as well.

Garret is always a good choice in my opinion.

yeah im deff going with a garrett
would i benefit if i went with the z32 maf and 550cc injectors for now, and the turbo down the road?

how much hp are the Deatschwerks 550cc good for? i don't want to be limited to 300hp. would diff injectors be needed for 400hp?

There is a cqlculator on their website.. if you're trying for 350 or more at the wheels, I would go with 740s..

Get a legit T3/T4 50 trim with a .63 ex, stage 3 wheel and u will love it. Spools quick and makes power all the way to the redline. Ive got Hks264 step 1 cams, intake manifold, 9.0:1 pistons and mine makes close to 420rwph @ 18ish psi.

there are many versions of the t3 t4 but a true Garrett t3 t4 50 trim is about the same size as a gt2871r
