What are your guys thoughts on a t3/t4 over a bolt on like GT-RS. I mean besides spool up, what do you think?

If you can afford it, it's the best way to go. Leaves you with so many turbo choices. Only con I can think of is melting your brake master cylinder when things get too hot.

Because of proximity, or do they get hotter than stock?

I'm pretty sure it's both, but mainly proximity.

If you run your car hard (track events and the like), the blankets and shielding will help but you’re going to run into problems regardless. If not, you'll be fine.
