Wondering if anyone knows for sure if a T3/T4 will fit ok on the cast iron manifold. all the pics I found are people using gt30s.

Or if someone with the hks installed, could measure their compressor house. Any help would be great.

Yes it will since the GT30R's run the S housing. Most T3/T4's run the E it will clear. I test fitted my SC61 to it and it has a .60 E housing on it. Clears real good no worries there.

There are some older T3/T4's out there that have the B housing which is smaller than the E.

B and E is fine, my S hit the strut tower and the motor mount.

On the HKS cast iron manifold you can clear an S cover depending what type of motormounts you have. I was using Stock motormounts and the S-cover would not clear, so i went to a Solid motor mount set up raising the exhaust side of the motor about 3/4" and the S cover cleared and the exhaust side / downpipe also cleared the steering rack. and IMO YES it is worth the extra work to get a bigger turbo on the RB. In the long run it will pay off.

trust me the gt30r has one of the biggest compressor covers on a turbo that ive ever seen, so im positive that a to4s housing will fit.also i dont have any problems with my turbo, just had to clock the compressor discharge a bit so it wouldnt be pointing into the frame rail.

+1I sort of had to do the same thing, that is (2) people, one including me who have put a S cover on a HKS manifold.Well there is a picture of my motor with the S cover on it and bolted up and ready to go. In a few ill get a chance to take some more pictures with it in the car with the intercooler piping etc bolted up. It runs fine, well i had to send the turbo back to PTE because of a bad bearing, but it did dun fine.

So get your facts right. Very possible, just takes a little bit of trial and error.

I am glad someone corrected me on the 240 fit though, I guees you get more room to play than Skyline owners, point for you guys. It works out for the wife, the S will look good on her CA18

i might add that i am using the r32 xmember, which is what the manifold and engine were designed to work with and the turbo comes awful close to it......you guys with mount kits im not sure how it will work on your cars.
