Pushing the envelope to say, the GTiR can problem handle around 500hp. But that is with upgraded injectors, turbo and maf. The stock setup of a GTiR is good for 300-320whp all day long. You can run the T28 at 18psi, but I wouldn't recommend this for daily abuse. Maybe for dyno's or track days. The turbo goes out of its efficiency range around 1.1 bar(16lbs). The t3/t4 setup you mentioned is a good way to get around 350whp, but bigger injectors are needed because the 444's even at 4 bar will be 100% duty cycle and bigger maf. You can run around 20lbs of boost on the t3/t4, with race gas. Anything over 16lbs on the sr, race gas is recommended. Might as well be safe than sorry. You can also upgrade the a/r on the t3/t4 to make more horsepower if 350 isn't good enough for you.
So in summary:Stock gtir block can handle 500hp*pushing things*The gtir T28 makes good power until around 16psi.The injectors are running @ 3bar and they are good for 300+whp and if you run them at 4bar fuel pressure, they are good for 330-340whp.The maf is good for around 300whp. Anything more and a bigger maf is required or boring the gtir maf works as well. Bored GTiR maf is good for 340whp.
Hope this helps.
