Hello,I plan to get my SR swap from XAT racing and eventually go with a T3/T04e top mount turbo kit upgrade from peakboost at enjukuracing.

I want to be able to run at least 400whp on pump gas and have the potential for 500whp!

I was wondering (I tried searching!) what modifications the block would need for this kind of power to hold reliably?

I'm assuming just rods and some 264 or 272 cams (want high end power).

I dont think that you will have to do anything to the bottom end. I know guys running here in lubbock 450hp w/no bottom end upgrades, and they have been realiable for 2+ years. You will have to upgrade your head gasket though.

Oh wow. Well, I plan to run 19psi on pump. Around 25psi on race gas.

Headgasket, that's it?

Can the t3 t04e support 400+ on pump for sure?

you wont need to touch your bottem end until you start edging real close to 500whp. As far as everything else from the HG up though you are going to need to upgrade. HG for all that boost. Camshafts because the stock are tiny and limit your power. I'd go with a nice 264 cam with a high lift. that would match your turbo perfectly. however i don think they are any 264 cams out there on the market that will allow for 500whp. you may need to go with a 272. also your valvetrain will need to be upgraded for those bigger/agressive cams. also as far as that turbo doing 400whp on pump well it should but you should really research any and all turbo's to decide which is best for you. and then when you purchase it you will know everything about it..good luck man

Hey I appreciate it alot!

Me and my buddy are actually splitting the entire costs and using it as our track car. It's a good idea because we get parts literally twice as fast. If we should ever get into argument, we have a contract to just sell the car and split the profit.

I'd be VERY hesitant to say that turbo can push that much housepower without some VERY nice tuning.

If you were doing top mount I'd like to persuade you on a 3571 but =(

AAAARRRRGGGGHHH MATEY

how much for the manifold/turbo combo s13fastback?

by the way, i fixed all the problems with my engine...it's not only running better...it's WAAAAY faster.

as for 500whp in a 240sx, you sure you wanna go 180mph in a 15+ year old chassis?
