I fixed some leaks in my intercooler pipes and I am boosting 10psi now. I was wondering at which rpm you see full boost. How much do I have to retard my timing? I was also wondering what numbers I should see with 10psi of boost?

I retarded my base timing to 16* for 11psi, btw. I'm using a similar turbo.

i retarded back to 15 and was fine.............i have a str8 t3 but a 60 trim with a .63 a/r........ten psi with horrible horrible a/f's (they were unknown due to the dp being half way on) netted me 242wrhp and 225 or so pounds of torque. i posted in your dyno thread also fyi..............

My numbers are like your but opposite 229wrhp and somewhere around 240 pounds of tq. I am not sure on the tq since i was happy about my hp gain that i completly forgot about about the tq.

You guys should get some type of timing control like MSD BTM...

15 degrees is very retarded (but necessary if you have nothing else to control it), and undoubtedly makes off-boost driving terrible and sluggish (does it stumble???) Advancing my timing from just base 20 to 22 btdc (I have a JWT ecu controlling timing) made a HUGE difference...7 degrees advance would make a HUGE difference in feel, smoothness, and power for those situations where you're not in boost.

98240: as far as spooling goes, it depends what kind of T3 super 60 you have...

My old one had a .48 a/r stage I turbine, .60 a/r compressor and, of course, the super 60 trim compressor...my new T3 super 60 has a stage III .63 a/r turbine, .60 a/r compressor, but both impeller blades for the turbine and compressor are substantially larger.

It doesn't build boost as fast as the old one, but it's by NO MEANS laggy...it's actually better for gas mileage because it's easier to stay out of boost when just tooling around town.

ur right markemark, a better way of controllin timing is needed. hence the enthalpy ecu thats on its way. as u said 15 is needed to be safe.
