T3 Questions

I don't want to ruin the movie for anybody so if you haven't seen it yet stop reading!!!

Ok, so if judgement day was inevitable and skynet still exists, what was the purpose of destroying Cyberdyne Systems and all that black guy's research in T2? How did that postpone judgement day? The arm and CPU from the first terminator inspired his research but did his work lead to the building of Skynet or not? Did someone just follow in his footsteps and continue with the project? Seems kind of far fetched to rebuild everything from scratch and have it up and running in 10 years.

You can kill the research, but not all the researchers. They still had this info in there head. Remember, Cyberdyne was gonna build Skynet for the military anyway. they just stumbled on to the original Terminator sent back in time. That probally actually moved Judgment day closer. By destroying Cyberdyne it just delayed it. Took them eight years to get back up to speed and kill everyone.

Plus you have to figure they had back up computers with info in other research facilitys. Plus it was a military contract. They keep copies of everything, anyway.

It was a pretty good movie. I saw the ending comming a mile away. They were stupid to belive it was gonna be any other way. You cant escape your destiny. And the part about sending the terminator that killed him back in time was pretty cool.

anyone notice that in t3 they say that Gen. brooster was the man who came up with skynet, but in t1 or t2 terminator says that some scientist is the reson for skynet?.... i dont know im probably missing something, im not as hard of a follower as you geeks are... jk

They changed history at the end of the second one. I don't want to spoil it for anybody who hasn't seen it (T2), so I'll just say remember the scene in the Cyberdyne building... with the swat team... and Miles Dyson (I think that's his name, I don't remember exactly though.)
