So I bought a ca swap minus a turbo and I was wondering what it would take to make a my t3 work other than flanges. If its a decent bolt on I'll go for it but I'm poor and cant afford all that injectors, wideband, safc, tuning sillyness. If that wont work I'll go with a DSM t25, although I'm not sure of the differences I know that the ca t25's are crap and DSM's are not. Anyone care to enlighten me?

I believe the DSM t25 flange is different than the Nissan one. Other than the flange you could probably find a properly-sized t3. You might want to check the classifieds on here and see if anyone is selling an SR t25.

I'm not too worried about the flanges, I have the specs to give my machinist for both turbos I just want to know whats neccasary as far tuning for the t3. I have both turbos sitting in my basement as well as a t4 so I'd really like to use one of them instead of buying a bolt on turbo. Besides my machinist will do flanges for like $20 so it's not big deal.

Ah, the TE04H. Its pretty crappy, but comparable to the stock CA T25. You can run it if you want, and you probably won't have to modify a thing fuel wise. I understand its good for about 13-14psi.

Why not bolt on an SR T25? They're cheap and readily available.

If thats the case should I just go with the DSM t25\td05? I still dont know why but they can handle more boost and power than a ca t25.

Because you don't have to weld or fabricate anything. You don't have anything to support much more boost anyway, and the SR T25 is a great match for the CA.
