So, can i use a T3/T4 mani? That should have the flange for the T3, right?

Yes, what the deal is this: A T3/T4 is a T3 turbine bolted to a T4 compressor. The goal is to get some of the spool of the T3, while getting the flow of a T4. So a T3 mani is a T3 mani, since it is the turbine side that bolts up. So long as you don't change your mind, and end up running a T2x or a T4, you will be fine. If you change your mind and want to run T3/T4 later or a GT3x you will be fine. Just be sure that your T3 has a genuine-style Garrett T3 turbine in flange. Some T3's like the Volvo and some Chryslers do not use this flange, and so if you go junkyard you will have to get your mani from JGS. Me, I am running the eBay mani, we will see how long I make it until it cracks.....

So im thinking that my turbo (t3) is straight t3. Its from a 87 300zx. This should work on those mani's from e-bay? How will this turbo be on the performance? Some poeple say ill boost moderately, not to big and some say ill be feeling it barely. Very confused!

Some advice for a Noob!

Stay away from "Those Manifolds" on ebay. They will work for a short time but you are better off spending a few more dollars on a good manifold.

Try JGSTOOLS.com

There is lots info on the forum and a lot of good guys that will be glad to help you out, if you take the time to do some research first. We all started off right where you are. Good luck, welcome to the KA-T club. Do it right the first time and your car will bring you nothing but joy. Do it the cheap way and you will spend more time working on it than driving it.

I have the mani, so does KAtwo40, they are fine in the third gen. There def are better, though. Also, fitment kind of sucks. The T3 from 300 is fine, talk to Cav about it, he is running one. Also, theKawaii.
