I wanted to know what is the difference between a T28 Turbo from a RB26DETT and a T28 from a S14/S15 SR20DET?

I'm assuming the RB26 T28 is going to have a smaller compressor housing because it is only required to feed 3 cylinders (1.3 litres) as opposed to an SR T28 housing which is required to feed 4 cylinders (2.0 litres).

Thats how it was on my friends JDM VG30DETT turbo. It had a T28 compressor, but the housing was tiny compared to my T25.

Is that bad having a smaller housing compressor? Does that mean the T28 from the RB engine wont push as much boost than the T28 from the SR?

s14 T28's and s15 T28's are difforent too.

S15 T28's are dual ball bearing and spool quicker.

and last longer, and the smaller housing would mean less air flow

:thinker HKS (made by garrett- most t25 flange turbos should fit), Blitz (KKK) Power Enterprises, GP sports, Tomei, HPI, dude there are too many to list. Think about how many tuner companies there are for Integra parts we can get in the US, but put a Silvia in place of the Integra and you get an idea of just how popular Silvias are amongst Japanese tuning companies over there.
