got my motor all hooked up! and im not sure if this could be because my motor is maybe off timing? but my turbo will spool really early it seems like, i will be in the low 2k rpms and it sounds like my turbo is spooling, pretty loud, and im also getting compression surge while moving, but when the car is sitting and i rev it there is very little to no compression surge, anyone know whats up?

timing?

i have sr20det, with s14 t28 turbo with hks bov, isis front mount intercooler, enpalthy tune, 480cc injec, 264 toda racing cams, toda adjustable cam gears

so let me know what you guys think it could be

It spooling up quickly isnt a bad thing, Is your bov working how it should? What did you end up doing about all of the blast media? Did you get it all out and change the oil a lot?

yeah i got as much of that s*** out as possible, put oil in it with oem filter, let it idle for about 10 minutes, with a huge speaker magnet on oil pan, turn off car, dropped oil pan cleaned it big time, changed oil filter, then put in new oil with k&n oil filter, and i drove it around for a little bit and now it just seems like the timing is a bit off or something, the motor is a little shakey, and i am getting compression surge, when i free rev it i gets very little to no compression surge, but when its in gear and i let off the gas it will get compression surge, so i dunno maybe i have to adjust my bov?

it shoould be stock, i am using a stock actuator

Whats the boost gauge reading? Reason why i ask is my actuator took a crap and my wastegate is stuck closed. Im hitting full boost at 25-2900rpms and serious compressor surge if i let off to early.

Sounds kinda similar.

Not sure, didnt research testing it b/c i know mines bad( should hit .5kpa and im hitting 1.0kpa)
