T28 Swaps T25?

Fellow SR tuners, Just want to make sure that the T28 Ball bearing turbo can replace the T25 turbo without hassel, will it bold directly up to my existing manifold.Thanks.

the bolt hole spacing on the oil drain flange is a little wider, make sure you have the right one. THe stock T25 oil drain flange will not bolt on, you may be able to slot the holes, but then it might leak. I have attached a pic of the correct flange. I bought this one from precision turbo and engine. It has a 3/8NPT threaded hole in the middle. Shown is an Earl's adaptor to go from 3/8NPT to -10AN.

Other than that you, you will probably have to adjust the angle of the compressor and turbine, then it will bolt on.

the turbo outlet is different as well i believe, this was just talked about last week-try a search

Here is a pic of a T28 (shiny one) next to a T25. Since they both have T25 exhaust housings, they are exactly the same on the exhaust side (maybe the A/R is different...) so the exhaust housing flanges will transfer over just fine. ON the compressor side, the only difference is the orientation of the air intlet flange, which you can see in the pic. THis may be a little problem for some people. Both flanges from the T25 compressor, also bolt onto the T28 just fine, I have actually tried it. hope that helps.
