im about to install my setup which consists of the following

s14 t28 turbo @ 14 psis15 480cc injectors FMIC SSA manifold z32 maf enthalpy ecu full 3 inch exhaust stock headgasket fidanza flywheel act xtreme clutch asp pulley

do you guys think its safe to run so much boost on 91 octane even though i have a ROM tune? everyone else but CA gets 93 octane...

I don't see a problem with you running that setup. I have a GT28RS .86 exhaust side, and it runs out of *** with anything over 12psi. Love the spool though.

I would say you're fine running 91, because that's what you should have told Enthalpy when he tuned your ECU. If not, I would retard your base timing a little, and maybe throw some Denatured Alcohol or Toulene in the tank with it.

Should be fine. Might run 12psi though... At least break it in a week or 2 at 8lbs or so... then up it...

i was used to running this much boost on a t3/t4 but im saving this turbo off my SR car so i cant let it go to waste!

t25 will have more heat output than the t3/t4 will...

so i ditched my 480's and got my hands on some sard 555cc's. im going to retard base timing a degree and run 14psi and see how it feels.

i just dont want to blow it again, im rebuilding a KA with forged internals on the side (2nd one). just hope it lasts.

As long as the ECU pulls enough timing under boost, i don't think it will be a problem. I'm running stock base timing on mine but i'm pulling a butt load of timing under boost and it runs great.
