t28 on the black top sr

i might be getting a sr20det but he says he has a t28 with fmic and exhaust, can u run the t28 without tuning and messing something up???

On stock boost you should be ok.

so what do i do so i can tell if the engine is the s14 black top or s15 black top???

Look at the SR FAQs sticky at the top of the RWD-SR forum page. The S14 and S15 have VVT and have "notchback" valve covers. Look at the sticky to find a link to the pics of the different SR's
