Does anybody know if it matters which side the coolant inlet & outlet lines go to? I have to imagine it's just a straight through design, where coolant flows in between the journals, but I wanted to be sure. I have seen the FSM, so I know which way they are suppsoed to go, but the DiF braided lines fit much better backwards. Basically, the outlet from the block is going to the outside line & the inlet from the water neck is coming from the inside line. The FSM shows the inside to the block & the outside to the neck. I doubt it's any issue, but I wanted to be sure. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, S14 SR20DET is the engine I'm talking about, if it's not obvious.

It should really only fit good one way, as long as everything threads in and you use the proper teflon tape or copper crush washers. You should be fine.

The coolant line does not matter too much however the oil line and restrictor do.

This is the same thing I am wondering. I have the same problem. I also was wondering that. This is from a post of mine telling about my issue.

"I purchased the circuit sports braided line kit. I have connected the longer line to where the thermostat is then to the driver side of the turbo. I am now having trouble with the shorter one. It goes to the side of the block and to the passenger side of the turbo. Right? Does any one have a picture of theirs so i can get an idea of which way to route it. thanks"

The coolant line behind the block goes to the passenger side of the turbo (talking if its mounted up on the car obviously), the coolant line that is by the oil outlet goes to the drivers side. (USDM vehicles of course :))

Its should be easy to figure out which goes where. The one on that goes from the back of the motor to the turbo is only threaded in on one end.

Just noticed its an S14 SR, so this isn't as helpful.

I have the oil line on the top of the turbo. that is the way it was removed. but it is a little to the passenger side and then there is a coolant line that goes near the bottom passenger side of the turbo that I am having a hard time conecting. and yes it is all still in the car. it is a s14 sr20det
