I have a 89hb and i am swapping to a redtop W/ T28 greddy fmic +boostcontrl ,intake,3in exhaustshould i add a upgraded blow off valve,would this help in performance or is it just noise at this point??

The BOV does 2 things.-Allows for the correct amount of metered air into the combustion chamber.(otherwise wasted into atmosphere)-Aids in spool response between shifts.

You should buy one from Phase2 and install it when doing the swap.
