t25 wasnt boostin, took it off to find a suprise

I as getting no boost at all, i checked everywhere for boost leaks also, so it had to be the loose turbo.

Took me forever to take the exhaust manifold off >.> and then as i inspected the turbo the wheel wasnt moving, so i pushed it a bit and it starts moving but i hear a sheet metal sound :o.

I guess since the turbo was loose, my mani-turbo gasket got eaten alive by the turbo. I am still missing some pieces, hopefully there in the intercooler waiting for me to be taken out.

The t25 is in awesome shape and has no shaft play which had me suprised!

yup, the old "gasket fell in my turbine" syndrome.... im sure you were neglecting a exhaust leak for some time before the incident lol

mine did that! lost half a gasket.

I wouldnt mind replacing the gasket but it was so much work to take the manifold off and now i have to put it back on :[

and i didnt even notice an exhaust leak, should make my car more quiet now :D
