ok im a noob at this but heres my question. im building a t25 setup on my ka but i just realized that s13 turbos were water cooled. so does that mean that i dont run a oil line and just run a water line instead or can i just run a oil line instead? if you could please give me some answers it would be nice thanks

ok nevermind i think the answer is gotta run both water lines and oil lines. but where can we drain the water to?

You don't need to water cool the t-25.

I don't feel liek getting into it too much since I'm REALLY procrastinating on this paper...but, t25s are not air cooled and heat like hell. People that run only il lines have run into some problems reguarding melting some oil lines around the runners of the exhaust manifold. Running coolant lines to the turbo help to keep the tempurature down significantly since the t25s are not air cooled. Some people have cheated on their setups by running their oil feed lines around the block in order to avoid contact with the runners. You can flange hardline for the segment of oil feed running near the runners of the manifold in order to avoid the threat of melting. I have also heard of people using heat wrap around the oil line comming in contact or near the runners. I'm sure several other members that aren't currently writing another college paper will also comment, lol.
