Hey guys, I'm in the process of boosting my KA and have read the awesome ABC123's and KAT FAQ's, as well as the "Experiences with different setups" thread.

I must say that's some great info there! I definitely feel more comfortable in piecing up a reliable setup now.

I've never ridden on a KA-T before, so I have very little first hand experience on how a T25 behaves in the KA. The goal is to have a 240whp-260whp daily driver that spools up quickly. Not too worried about top end right now, just bottom and mid range.

IIRC, from the threads I've gathered that:

- it spools up at 2000rpm and if you boost past 10psi it becomes a heat pump.

- top efficient HP is about 250whp??? (not sure)

- Also, that with 370cc injectors, Walbro 255 pump and ECU tune it will make around 230whp at 7psi. Is that correct?

Do any of you have this set up?

If you do, then I wanted to ask the following questions:

1- What does mid range mean in our rpm range?2- at what RPM do you feel the turbo dies out?3- Have you tried boosting 10psi on the fuel setup listed above? if so, what whp have you achieved.4- When the turbo spools up, at what rpm does it achieve the full boost you've set?

Thanks in advance for the responses.

i have the same exact setup lol

1- What does mid range mean in our rpm range? If i recal correctly, we redline at 6500, roughly low mid hi ~ 0-2500rpm, 2500-4500rpm, and 4500rpm to redline respectively

2- at what RPM do you feel the turbo dies out?i think a bit after redline? someone might have to chime in on that

3- Have you tried boosting 10psi on the fuel setup listed above? if so, what whp have you achieved.i think in theory you can, but i am sure youd be close to maxing out the injectors... which isnt safe...

4- When the turbo spools up, at what rpm does it achieve the full boost you've set?3200rpm i think, but im on too much of a budget to have a boost gauge o confrim that. (stock WG, 7-8psi)

hope i helped!

Thx for the input man.

what horsepower do you have with that setup?

I've been on the search for a used T25 off an SR20 but it seems when they go for sale, they get sold right away! lol

I ran my old t25 setup at 11psi it randomly saw 13 or so...

cannot say a whp number but it would run with a small bike on the highway..

I dont see why 370's 'max out' at 10psi, I ran stock injectors with raised fuel pressure. AFR's in the safe zone. Hell my t3 setup hit 13(a LOT more air)pounds without killing the motor. safe tune by myself

every pound of boost should equal ROUGHLY 10hp(crank I would assume)... a good tune will help that be more.
