t25 or t3t4??

i got a sr20 and have to rebuilt the turbo but i could get a t3t4 that as just be rebuild for the same price. wich is the best???

I know t3t4 are bigger, but do makes a big difference? i heard you got more lag with a t3t4??

with a bigger turbo your will be able to boost at a lower psi with a higher out come on horse power. you will however have to tune for the t3/t4 since your ecu is tuned for the t25. assuming your using a sr20det ecu. if your looking for more power then the max that the t25 will put out which is roughly 300hp. most people will argue about that, thats shooting on the high end. The t3/t4 depending on trim will be able to do well over that tuned properly.

The t3/t04 turbo uses a different flange then the t25, therefor you need a new exhaust/turbo manifold. To truly take advantage of the bigger turbo (boost above ~7psi) you will need bigger injectors, a better fuel pump, clutch that can hold the extra power, tuning, wastegate, FMIC.

Research is your friend.

theres alot more to it than just change the turbo as was mentioned already.

I just want to point out that besides all the extra money and time and effort involved, if the motor is stock, its not going to appreciate the extra 100+ horsepower for very long.
