I've been thinkin' I like the fact that the T25 is cheap, spools insanely fast, and fits nicely.

I'de be pretty happy with high 12's so for the same price as a GT25R i could get head work, FPR and new cams and probibly see some 12's with the right tires and the right launch. Plus if i blow up the turbo i can get a replacement for like 75 cents (exzaggeration). Anyone else ever gone this route?

like i said it's just dreamin' but i think it is very possible.

I'm goin that way, at least for the first year or two...i eventually am goin to upgrade to a 3037 or something of that nature...but i plan to upgrade most everything first and see what i can get outta the T25...and like u said, they're so cheap...over the next year or so i'd like to have fuel pump, fpr, safc, light weight pullyies(if UR has them done), dual electric fans, cams, valve springs, z32 maf, RAS, port and polish, tubular manifold, FMIC, boost conroller, bigger oil pan, oil catch can, oil cooler(might not help but it won't hurt), exhaust, downpipe, lsd, lighter wider wheels, good rubber, and a short shifter...oh and some stripped interior and lightweight body parts...and a larger TB if i can locate one...

Now i have a lot of that now, but thats pretty much the list i'd like to complete before upgrading the turbo...i'm hoping for mid 12's with some good tuning, but i won't be upgrading anything that i can't use with the larger turbo, but can't see that being a problem...

So go for it, learn to tune and upgrade your engine without the worry of blowing your new fancy turbo...you man never want to upgrade to a larger one, but if you do you'll be able to take more advantage of its power capibilties...

They're also serverly overpriced...the reason for sticking with the T25 is that its dirt cheap...

Oh and add to my above list a clutch and flywheel...

see i already have most of that stuff... i want the FPR so i can feel a little safer running 14psi on 93. And i want the headwork because i've always wanted to do cams in a car.

I agree that the S15 turbo is SOOOOOOO expensive for what you get. So is the GT25... Those are definately what i will go to when the T25 dies

don't forget to add ECU remap to that list. a new MAF and injectors can't be utilized properly if the computer doesn't know they're there

Hey what exactially does the AFC do to make the Z32 AFM AND the injectors work? I know it modifys the MAF signal. So all it does is reduce the voltages down to way less than the stock MAF to get the injectors to work at idle and part throttle?

I've read that before. I guess what i'm asking is that in that 50% adjustment there is enough to compensate for the Z32 AFM AND the Injectors?

yes..up to 550cc injectors (some people have said it can compensate for 740cc), and i know Eloy used it on his eclipse w/ 660 injectors (at like -20), so they can definitly compensate for the 550's.
