You take it off like you do any compressor cover, there are bolts in the back plate that bolt to the housing. Should be about 6 of them IIRC.

T3 on a T25 is a bad idea if you ask me.

I dont think you can just take the front compressor off a T25 and replace the thing with one from a T3. Also, a T3 turbo by itself wont fit onto the stock manifold because the flange is different.

You can if you have the same shaft diameter and the T3 housing bolts on. However the end result is an inefficent turbo because the T2 turbine is meant to be operated in conjunction with a T25 compressor.

i was just going to mill the housing to accept the t3 wheel, not the whole compressor swap. the t3 wheel is 60mm as opposed to 52mm (i think, cant remember atm) which isnt that big a difference. i only plan to run 12psi. just wanted to lose the choking feel of the t25 compressor in the higher rpm's with the more effiecient t3 wheel.

and btw, i dont see 6 bolts on the back plate to take the housing off, i know t3's and t3/t4's have them but i dont see them on the t25.

I've taken apart a few T25's off a GT-R and they had those bolts. I can recall them being on my SR T25 as well, otherwise you wouldn't be able to assemble the turbo. Just undo the bolts on the back of the housing, they should be there otherwise you could freely spin the housing.

There is a big circlip/snap ring that holds on the comp housing on t25. Just like the adapter plate on a t28 which has the six bolt in it.
