Ok here is my problem.. I have the most basic of basic set ups on my 2slowdy. The ole t25 route. The problem happened last weekend. The car has been running great for the last 10 months, absolutely no problems.. I was heading to the Import Alliance meet in Nashville when I noticed that the car was having trouble building boost. I drove it a little further and then nothing. It wouldn't build anything. My initial thoughts were ringlands. But the car idles fine doesn't smoke at all basically after I leaned it out it ran like stock (even with the turbo system still in tact.) I took her home and garaged it. Took off the j pipe from the turbo to inspect the turbine wheel. I expected to see it gone but it wasn't. It looked perfect, as did the compressor wheel. I was a little perturbed so I let the whole pile sit for the week. Well about an hour ago I put it back together and it ran perfect while it was realitivley cold. After the turbo and the motor had time to warm up same problem agian.

So my question is could this be a turbo problem and if so has anyone else experienced this??

Thanks for your help in advance

Sounds like a wastegate issue. The t25 you have is internally gated correct? Make sure your vac lines are still good for starters. Second, check the actuator arm to make sure its still connected, and isnt in its open position.

Yep, that's what I was thinking. You're wastegate must be stuck open, or maybe even your blow off valve. check vacuum lines, and couplers. Also, try starting the car, and rev it from the throttle body pretty hard. Watch and listen for anything not normal.

That could really be his only problem, what other way could you loose all boost and still maintain driveability? I would say you guys are spot on with the wastegate issue, so I 3rd that.

After some further investigation last night I think I have narrowed it down to the wastegate. Boost won't build then all of the sudden BAMMMM 10 psi. HKS wg here i come.
