Hey guys this is my first post and im having a boost issue on a car i just bought. This is my first 240sx and im slowing learning about the Sr Motor. The car is running fine in a sense. It idles between 900-1k Rpms, no knock on the motor. I purchased the car off my neighbor that swapped in the motor himself about 8 years ago. i grew up watching him build this car. He had replaced the wiring harness on it about a year ago at a local shop that specializes in JDM toyota and nissan motors. The car ran fine for about two months after that, then started having these boost issues. He had one of the guys from that shop come out and see what the problem was and they said it might be the wastegate (HKS wastegate) getting stuck open or the flapper is broken in the turbo. They to really see the turbo needs to get taken off. I made this video to see if anyone had any similar problem and can guide me in the right direction to get it solved. Around 48 seconds you can hear the boost getting cut, it sputters then the car drives fine. the boost just never fully hits in...thank you

If it sputters hard core when the turbo won't spool, id say your bov isn't sealing momentarily. Id take it apart and clean and inspect.

thanks ill take it apart and check it out. i took a pick of the wastegate, i just noticed theres no line connected from the MBC to the turbo. could this be the issue?
