Well after getting everything put together ,exhaust system etc.

I was like damn this car is slow and later on pulling in I see a white puff of smoke out the exh. for about 10min. ,turbo is locked to hell and now it will be down for more weeks. No I didn't push it,running stock boost. Ughhhhhh now I gotta take off all this sh*t.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe it was my fault ,has anyone primed their turbos before running the motor??

Yes. Doesnt matter though that stock turbo was gonna die sooner or later. Taking the turbo off is easy once you get the hang of it eheh.

It was highly recommended by all to have that snail redone before installing your motorsets because you will eventually have to change it anyway. No warranty on turbochargers from me........

Yea, that turbo was gonna go anyway. Mines still going, but I don't expect much more from it. I didn't prime mine in the normal sense, but I removed the fuel pump relay and disconnected the ignitor and turned it over for a good 30-45seconds. Mine still works, so I must have done something right...

^ agreed here. I woudl definitely look into upgrading it instead of simply replacing with another t25. You're gonna wanna sometime anyway, so might as well do it while you have the perfect opportunity.

Well the turbo removal wasn't too bad, just had to keep playing with tools to get in certain places. Yeah the poor T25 got owned, to be curious I had put some oil in the oil return outlet and the only the way I can spin it was with a screwdriver, lol, then it got stuck for good and I chipped a blade with it. Oh well ,either s14 T28 or a hybrid will be on there in a few more weeks, gotta work some overtime.:pface

What other turbo upgrades are out there for the CA w/o having to upgrade everything else. Anything else besides the t28?
