I changed my stock internals-GT28R-370cc-SAFC setup to a forged internals-T3/T04E-740cc-Enthalpy ECU setup.

I used the same turbo manifold for both setups. Here's some pictures...

One thing is I wouldn't run that oil line that close to the exhaust housing. Other then that it looks great.

Man, tuned ECUs are it... The car started right up, the only thing on the SAFC is 6in/6out for the Z32 MAF; all other settings and corrections are at zero.

Actually, the Enthalpy is for 615cc injectors, so I dropped the fuel pressure to 30psi so the 740s run like 615s (that's what the DW spreadsheet said: 740s @ 30psi=615cc). I'm swapping it out tonight or tomorrow for an EFI Specialist/Redline ECU for 740s, so I can bump up the fuel pressure to 44psi.

I'll let you know if I notice any difference between the Enthalpy and EFI-S tunes.

I wanted to try this kind of setup. I think I would remove the origginal T2 flange and angle the new T3 flange in the same location, but probably 10 to 15 degrees upward so that the downpipe can be fabricated so it is no where near the BMC. Do you have any pictures of the mainifold itself? I'm really curious as to how and where you wleded the External wastegate flange as to avoid any issues with boost creep.

I don't have any pictures of the uninstalled manifold. My fabricator welded the T3 flange on the T2 flange to keep it solid, and then ported it to smooth out the transition. The wastegate flange was welded to a 1.5in pipe that taps into the header's collector.

Yeah, I figured I'll tap right into the collector. Another member tapped into the 4th runner when he tried his bottom mount T3 setup a few months back, but, the angle of the wastegate plumbing looked pretty suspicious.

What angle is it comming from the manifold? Is is straight up and perpendicular? Comming off at the same angle, or reverse angle? Lol, looks like this is the route I'm taking.

The pipe from the collector to the wastegate is always parallel to the floor. It comes from the 1 & 2 runners in the collector towards the driver's side strut and immediately makes a slight bend towards the steering wheel.

Definitely let us know how this goes. I'm always curious to play with new stuff that's offered for our cars!

I removed the Enthalpy and installed the EFI-Specialist ECU today and took the car for a spin. It feels just like the Stock and Enthalpy ECUs so I'm keeping it in the car. Oh, by the way my car overheated slightly due to a busted radiator cap. Nothing serious... If anyone's interested in the Enthalpy ECU, let me know.

So is that just the ssac bottom mount that you flipped over and welded the t3 flange to and wastegate flange to also? If so that looks great. Have you had any problems at all with the manifold? How long have you been running it?

Exactly. I used that manifold as a bottom-mount for 1.5 years, and just started using it as a top-mount. No problems whatsoever with the manifold.
