T04E turbine how many psi

i have a T04E turbine and im gonna put on my 94 convt. Planning for Ka-T project. Gonna boost about 15 psi on stock internals and upgrade head gasket jus wanted to know wat is the max psi of the turbine

Also if any one knows around wat rpm its starts creating boost?

The TO4 full frame turbo's are good for more boost then a stock block can handle, so no worries there. I can't tell you when it will spool unless you can give me the specs from the turbo. What size is the exhaust housing? What trim is the turbo.

I had a TO4E with a 60-1 compressor and a .81 AR exhaust housing on my RB20 and it didn't spool until 5000ish.

Thats not bad then, you'll have boost before 4000 or so. Thats a good turbo choice.

cool i picked it up for $400 w/manifold, turbo extension pipe u know the pipe that mount on the exhaust side , and down pipe but i need to buy an external wastegate

not sure but its a cast iron topmount i think its from nsport

iirc, nsport uses a revhard manifold.

that is correct, same manifold i use. thats going to be a tight fit with the tangentail turbo. als o make sur to search about preping the manifold to prevent cracks

yeah the manifolds already cracked so i got to get it welded. but u said something about preping it so it wont crack wat do u mean?

You cut in between the runners so the flange can expand and retract.

make sure you drill small holes at the crack's ends so it doesnt spread
