Has anyone seen or heard of anyone doing a T-top conversion on a 240.

i saw a thread about it a long time ago. someone said the roof plays a key role in the car's structural rigidity, so it's not a good idea

92, Fastback. Im more of a drag strip racer. Not worried about the body flex of drifting although I do my share from time to time. But a good body shop should be able reinforce it to hold up.

I wonder if leaving a middle part of the room that goes from the back where the hatch is to the windshield would help with the rigidity problems. Like older camaros, and some of the pulsars had them. Others have said the hatch might be a problem. But Using a Carbon Fiber hatch should clear that up.

you COULD just get a weld in roll cage...then you wouldnt have to worry about the roof so much...PLUS< you'd need one if ur car was any bit of fast ;-)
