T top Bracket?

What are purpose of T-top Brackets? this might be an easy question for some of you that's why I'm asking on here... i found a link on what they look like http://www.ebay.com/itm/1992-300ZX-N-A- ... 0948135384 I'm talking about the black bar looking things, My 300ZX didn't come with those and my friend gave them to me. My car doesn't even have the holes. Thanks

They deflect air over top of the car when the TTOps are out.

thanks, BTW do they make a big differens? do they really help? cause mine didn't come with them so it makes me wonder

My best friend has them, my old 90 TTop Z didnt I couldn't really tell a difference but im sure there will be people who can tell the difference.

My cabin is pretty calm when I have the windows up with the t tops off with that bracket on. When my windows are down, I can't tell because it gets pretty bad sometimes depending on the direction of the wind. I've never seriously tested that though.

yeah , I don't know if I should drill holes and and put them on. I think about it because that's another thing that can go wrong ...
