What are you guys using to keep the T Fitting to actually stay connected into the valve cover? I used silicone and that didnt seem to work and it just keeps popping out!

Also, any pics of your guys setup as far as the T Fitting goes would be appreciated. Some people put breather filters on one end but I hear this isnt the best thing to do for the motor.

Thats strange i don't know what you would wanna use to keep the T in place maybe some RTV would work but not sure the valve cover gets hot. Maybe get some high temp RTV but again this a band aid not a great fix. Maybe just get a new valve cover.

As far as the circuit u wanna make it easy. Back of the block to the back of the T. Then front of the T rerouted back to the turbo intake tube. Or better yet, front of the T to a catch can then back to the turbo intake tube. The reason for this is to keep the crankcase under vacuum. The breather filters are not good to use because the get clogged fast and can ruin a motor.

Where I live i dont have emmsions for OBD1 cars. So i removed the factory can setup and just took some hose for back of the block to back of the T. The front of T to a catch can. No the return from the catch can the the intake tube as kinda tricky. I have a piping pro aluminum turbo intake for with a 3 in inlet. So i bought some 5/8 hose to barb and drilled a hole used a lock washer and RTV'd the hole for a seal. If your using a t25/8 with a stock turbo intake there should be a port for you to route the Front of T line back to the turbo intake.

Do you what they use from the factory to keep it in place? It seems like a low quality silicone that comes apart fairly easy.

Anyways, I just siliconed it up again, maybe last time I didn't let it dry long enough. I had it set and dry for about 3 hours but it is cold outside (38F) and it says to allow longer time for colder temps. I think a day without driving it should be fine, so Ill see if that works in the meantime.

And thats exactly how I have it setup right now, Thanks haha. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the info! Just wish this silicone holds up this time!

Alright Guys, update on this topic!

I used RTV high temp silicone, which held up fine for about 3 weeks until it finally popped loose again. Im getting really pissed bc i dont know what else to use or how your guys" "T" is staying in place. Oil just goes everywhere in the engine bay and makes for a huge cleanup project everytime!

So, what are you guys using to keep the "T" from falling out? Or is it not supposed to use any silicone, and I have a bad valve cover or something??? Any help is appreciated guys!

J B Weld yo. Take the valve cover completely off. Clean all the oil out of it and let it fully cure. If that doesn't work then get a new valve cover.

Alright, I have some JB weld, its 2 part apoxy mix, but its really cold outside and I dont know if it would adhere good because its so cold. Ill give it a try tho.

If that doesn't work, whats with the valve cover? Is it supposed to be designed so that the "T" fits snug in it or is it supposed to have some sort of silicone or something from the factory?

^ Not sure about that. My first SR had that problem with it moving. I just stuck it back in there and it was fine. My current SR doesn't move at all. So I guess they use some kind of high temp sealant or epoxy from the factory. Not sure what kind.

I'm fairly sure it's just a press fit just like all the other nipples on the engine, it's just that once it's been removed or loosens up, the fit is sloppy and won't stay in.

If it is coming out i would probably get a different valve cover or have someone weld an -AN fitting on there.
