Front looks to be a problem. I could visually see that move in the video.

Runout shouldnt be more than a few thousandths of an inch Id imagine, which you def wouldnt see on video.

My output play is identical to that Prelude. I've been led to believe that that is normal. But pushing on something with your hands while laying on your back hardly duplicates the torque required under driving conditions.

Issues like these bite the big one. I recently re-installed my front driveshaft to get ready for the winter, and my vibration has returned. Oh. And it was just balanced and checked for straightness at a local machine shop. I'm about tired of thinking about what it is, why, and all that BS.

Sometimes I wish I was like all the others on the road who drive the s*** out of their vehicles without any thoughts of maintenance and the like.

Thanks for checking, makes me feel better to know it seems normal. I sometimes feel the same, just drive around not caring.

so your getting a lot of vibration? have you had both shafts balanced? front and rear?

is the vibration occurring at all times or just when in 4wd. my q has slight vibration when in 4 high at 70-80mph but very very slight, i only do this twice a month just to get the fluid through all the servos.

VG. If this is for me. Vibration is similar to that of riding in a truck or hillbilly car with big, meaty tread tires. More of a hum than a shake. Obvious without front drive shaft in. Definitely more noticeable with it installed. 2 wheel or 4 wheel. It is the same. That's what has me thinking output/input bearings on the front rear or transfer case. My head hurts just thinking about/discussing it.

I have yet to see anyone mention these things as the root of their individual issues regarding vibration.
