I'm not exactly sure what it is called but the T on the drivers side (of a 240sx) of the SR. I just switched to a Z32 maf. The T going to the front of the car was routed back into my take BEFORE my maf. With the Z32maf theres no room to route it before the maf. Will it throw off the maf if I route the tube after the maf? I've tried to look at other people's pictures of their engines and the tube from the T just ducks down under the intake pipe and I can't see where it goes.

That T is a PCV it just vents the crank case of pressure. There are two one for the lowerend and one for the head/Valve Cover. Do no block these off at all. You can just have them open but make sure they arnt open to where debree can enter the crankcase.

Actually PCV valve is located on the other side of the valve cover. It's the one closest to the firewall. This routes to the intake mani.

The T one goes to the stock catch can and goes back to the block. The other goes AFTER the MAF.

I would not put it before the MAF since there is oil coming out of it sometimes and you would not want that all over your expensive Z32 MAF.

If you can not route it after the MAF just put one of those breather filter on it. But even with that, oil will leak out of breather filter. It will not be as efficient as routing to your intake but it should be fine.

If I were you I would use some type of catch can, skrew putting that oil and junk back into your intake. Make one like I did or go with a cheap aftermarket one.

So make your own catch can...you're just making a place to sit the oil and all that other crap that blows through? So basically it's vented only, the crap sits in the catch can instead of getting blown through the engine bay?

well if you do have an oil catch tank its not vented, as you can see like driftin sr20det did he put a little breather air filter on his though and also if you dont have an oil catch tank the oil doesnt go into your engine bay, it runs back into your intake stream and your block. but are you sure the hose is going before the maf? if it was going after the maf before you swictched to a z32 maf it should still...switching to a different maf should have not changed anything

Yeah Im positive it went before the maf. The intake filter was attachted to a metal pipe which the hose from the hose to the PCV vavle was ran to, then the metal pipe was attachted to the MAF. When I switched to the Z32 maf I didn't have room for the metal pipe anymore because the Z32 is like twice as big as the original MAF.

But anyways, you guys answered my question that it can be route behind the MAF.
