T-3 turbo? What are the pros and cons? Installed on a Ka24DE?

Just want some input. I had initially looked at a T-28 Garrett turbo but found this Garrett T-3 cheap.

It's just a different flange, and usually t3 turbos are bigger than t2 turbos. The t28 is a mighty fine turbo though. If you already have a t2 flanged manifold, stick with the t25. If you haven't started piecing anything together go ahead and get the t3. What are the specs?

T3 is the ideal size for a ka24de. However going t3 means you pretty much have to spend more money. Custom downpipes are usually required, external wastegates are mostly used, ect.

T2 is the budget Ka-T rout.

Compare compressor maps btw a T3 60 trim and a S14 SR T28. They are nearly identical. Unless youve found a good deal on the T3, I'd go with a used T28 or a new T3/T04E...
