hey i was wondering, i think they do but i'm not too sure. do the stock t-25 and the t-28 (off of the turbo sr20's) come with internal wastegates. because i'm buying a manifold from jgs, and was wondering if i need to get a sepatate wastegate outlet. and if they do, what is the waste gate set at?? stock wise, like around 10 psi i'm thinking. i'm planning to put a t-25 on my ka24de, then later upgrade to a t-28?? do you think a t-25 is good for decent boost on ka24de before i upgrade to the t-28??

I believe the T-25 and T-28 will both choke the KA as they are kinda small. But someone else who knows more then me will be able to tell you if I'm right or wrong.

10psi on a t25 or t28 probably is not going to happen. I have done quite a bit of reading into using a T25 on my KA but the exhaust turbine is simply way too small. Even for 4psi, the gains you will feel are very minimal because of all the air trying to escape and not being able to, will result in more residual burnt fuel in the combustion chamber.

It will work, but its really not worth it. You can net far more gains with a larger turbo.

I have twin T25 turbines, .48's... I ordered regular nissan turbo outlet flanges for them but they don't fit, maybe the GTR's used a different flange...anyway a single T25, no way. A large T28, maybe, if its aftermarket. oem, probably not.twin might work. prolly not.

no, I'm not... just adding that as a disclaimer, just cause I'm trying it doesn't necessarily mean it will work.actually I just got my turbos in, they are in perfect shape... they guy told me they were off a 17,000 mile R32 GTR that went in to a shop for upgrades, but I figured it was the usual BS people put out when they sell stuff, and I got them, NO shaft play, you can spin them practically by breathing on them, no rust, no blade damage... they are practically perfect. And the turbines on those things are tiny, hopefully they will work great.
