I am definitely a noob at this stuff. I don't know anything about what I want to do when it comes to upgrading the system in my 2007 Altima. I was looking through crutchfield.com and found this bass package. http://www.crutchfield.com/App...00412 and I would also like to install it myself and build my own enclosure. Any help? =]

absolutely not!that's a horrible package.. its Rockford's weakest amp and weakest subs... those things sound like CRAP!!!!..

I'm just a little confused on how you're going from "i don't know anything about what i want to do" to " i want to build my own enclosure and install it myself... .. those two statements are usually a combination for disaster! search through this audio forum, and you'll find some good threads that will answer your questions!

What kind of package do you recommend? And I would have people that know what they're doing when it comes to electrical stuff helping me. But I might take it to some one to hook it all up but I would like to do the enclosure myself if possible.

Have you ever worked with fiberglass?

Have you ever built a box?

If so, then yes, this is something that you may be able to handle, if the answer is no, I would leave it to the pros...

i would need more info to set up a system....

1. what type of music do you listen to the most?2. What is your budget3. two subs or one sub?4. are you replacing you interior speakers?

1. Yes I have worked with fiberglass a little bit. 2. No I haven't built a box before. So I will probably look around town and see if I can find someone to do it for me.

System:

1. I like to listen to a lot of rock bands but I also like to listen to Rap. I want something pretty bass-y haha.

2. My budget right now is approx. $325 but I can always get more. I'd like to get something with good quality but that is relatively cheap.

3. The amount of subs doesn't matter to me. One would be fine. Two would be awesome.

4. I wasn't planning on replacing the interior speakers. My stereo is stock but I am happy with the sound of it I would just like it louder and to have more bass.

Thanks for the help by the way.
