If theres one thing that Nissan messed up on with the old 240's... is the back speaker setup... 4 1/2's?!?!?! what were they THINKING! The doors are almost impossible to fit 6 1/2's in there... adn the rear just cant be done... sigh. How are the S14's? are there speaker setups easier to put a system in? i just might get one of it is. Anyone doing custom systems? Lets hear what everyones doing.

Premier Head unit6 1/2 perfect components for doors(infinity everything) 4 1/2 Kappa plates for rear3 Perfect 10's 1 JBL 4x100, and 1 JBL 1000X1

Thats just my setup im planning. Who else is doing full systems?:bowdown :bowdown

Here's something helpful..... Infinity subs are good quality subs.... but i suggest getting some 12's if you gonna buy them.... better for the money... although like i said before the Perfect 10s are nice but so are the perfect 12's..... i got a friend who has a truck full of them... pounds like a pornstar..... get some audio bahn class d amps, and a audio bahn cap.... although there are better amps, those class d's look hype....

*smacks freak* NO! LOOKS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.. dont EVER go by looks on an amp.. besides.. if your smart u will hide your amp.. dont want someone jackin it.. anyways best amp is a zapco amp.. will cost ya alot tho.. i have Autotek and its a hell of an amp for the money... http://www.buyloud.com/product_detail.jsp?pid=2142

you can get them in higher wattage BTW...

basicly when buyin an amp look at teh "THD at Rated RMS Power"the lower the better.. and there are other things also.. be this isnt even about amps.. so im not gonna go into it..

LOL.

Yes everyone says get the 12's... but im really intrested in thump and not... super bass. My style of music is mainly punk, jazz, and hardcore so 10's are ideal. Hey 1991 bro, thats a sweeeeet *** setup, how'd you get the door panels to fit? thats sweet, BTW, is that a custom box to fit the 6x9's? Thats a sweet deal bro. Anyone in the 240 club competing SPL? :moon

It's a reall simple buildup for that box in the back..basically a 12 inch sub box with a board across the top that jams right up against the old 4x6 speakers mounts...so simple..then go buy whatver color capet you want or whatnot-

Ok so i buy an alpine deck from a friend and i got to install it with a wireing harness and i look inside, and the previous owner has butchered the stock wireing harness into some ungodly mess of wires... now it looks like i will need somone who know what they are doing...
