Syntax Questions....

I tried to search this.... Could someone explain to me the syntax used when talking about these motors. e.g. FMIC, IC, IM, BOV,.......I know some of them, like Front Mount Intercooler, and Blow off valve....But, there a many more that I ran accross that I couldn't make out. So if someone could make a list of commonly used syntax, that would be great.Thanx A lot,:ylsuper

FMIC = front mount intercoolerIM = instant message?BOV = blow off valveMAFS = mass air flow sensorVVT = variable valve timingAIV = air intake valve

I can't think of anything else off the top of my head

I'm guess IM = Intake Manifold...but it could mean instant message
