so i know i have a fuel leak, n i think it my fpr. as soom as i cut the car off my pressure drops to 0 instantly. i pintch the return line on the bottom hose of the fpr and the pressure stays, so i read on the stickys that if it does that the the fpr is leakin..........my car idles good but when i hit the gas it wants to bog but it picks back up instantly but also my a/fr are really rich at idle. could that be my prob.what are the symptoms of a bab fpr????????????????

yeah, sounds like a bad diaphram... you can get them tested.... do you have a fuel pressure gauge? that'll tell you if it leaking or not

So there seem to be a few things going on here.. First of all, you say you have a fuel leak. Can you smell fuel? If you simply had a bad FPR, you really wouldnt be leaking much if any fuel. I only say 'much if' because there might be the off chance that it could leak out the casing for the FPR or something, i really dont know.

However, it does sound like you definitely have a bad FPR, at least.

well i put it to u like this. my afr at idle sortof fluctuate a bit averyones in a while n whenthey are stable if i try to lean it out with my safc the idle will crap out so i just let it be. n my gauge stays stable at 35 at idle n it goes up as i rev it also while im at wot its in the high 10 low 11s.. i dont smell gas at all, but my car is kind of hard to start at first sometimes. i just notice the pressure drop n was conserned a bit thats all............

FPR's are cheap. Iv got like 5 of them that ill never use.

i think that my problem, i cheap out on that part ot my set up, i bought a "nismo" fpr with the gauge on it from ebay i also keep my eom fpr on there istead of bying the adapter i just took it off n drilled thru it (drill the guts n cleaned it)n seal the vac line fitting hell i figure it works just like the adapter.................save me 60 bucks or what ever they cost...... i guess i buy me another one

You most likely destroyed your new FPR by sending metal shavings and crap into the diaphragm trying to save money.
