I'm just curious as to what symptoms the clutch would be showing if it was going out? I don't think mine is, hopefully its just the slave or master cylinder going out. I'm not leaking any fluid, but every once in awhile my clutch pedal will stay down on the floor, and I'll have to manually pull it back up. And sometimes it'll feel really loose and sloppy.

I just put in a full stainless line, so there's no rubber lines or damper boxes hooked up. Didn't seem to help out really, or fix the problem. The pedal only stays down like once a month or something.

Also, is the car completely undriveable if the slave, master, or the clutch fails? Just don't want to be stranded anywhere. Thanks for the help!

either the master or slave cylinder is going bad and you still are getting bubles into the line.

Yeah, I plan on changing them both out here soon, just to be safe.

What would a clutch be doing if it was going out then? Would there be symptoms I could easily notice? Thanks.

You would be getting a lot of clutch slippage if the clutch is going out. For example, clutch is engaged. The engine revs but you don't feel no power transferred to your rear wheels. But try bleeding your clutch lines first and see if that helps.

Oh okay, so clutch slipping would be pulling the clutch out, but it doesn't actually engage then. Sometime my car will shudder when I let the clutch out, like once a week. I'll slowly pull it out and give it gas at the same time, and the whole drivetrain shudders for a sec or two, like it's trying to die or something......would that be a clutch problem?

I actually have already bled it twice, since I just put the new stainless line in. I'm running ate superblue fluid too. Thanks!

clutch chatter is caused when your clutch gets hot..you could get your flywheel turned to cure that

So is the chatter just my flywheel being warped or going bad, or is it an actual clutch problem?

I don't think my clutch is slipping, but it's been doing the chatter thing alot lately. When I slowly let the clutch out it'll shake the car for a second or two, doesn't make any noise though. Is this going to cause a problem, or is something going bad? Also, will the slave/master fix this problem? Thanks alot.
