Are there any symptoms that might tell me if my cas went bad?

The reason I ask is because I was test driving the car yesterday, let it idle for a bit since I finally got it stabled out. Drove it up and down the road, drove fine. Tried again 5 minutes later, put it in first, got going and the whole car just died. It bucked a few times, then just quit. Tried to crank the car over again, but it wouldn't start. Eventually, I kind of got it started again, but it was running extremely rough. It really just feels like my timing is jumping all over the place.

The car just got new plugs, coilpacks are fine, injectors are good, battery is new, starter and alternator are fine, grounds are good, maf is good. The only other thing I can think of is I have some gas in the car that is questionable.

If the CAS is bad, then the injectors won't get a pulse from the ECU to fire. Basically what you end up with is one or more injectors being dead.
